Riverside and Ilanga malls with their shops, restaurants and movies are 12 km to 18 km away and Casterbridge with its art, cinema, and restaurant a mere six minutes. A new shopping center in White River with all the necessary shops was completed in August 2019. White River is also a mecca for artists with the likes of Zakkie Eloff and Esias Bosch. For adrenaline junkies, Induna Adventures is the company to contact for anything from the Big Swing in Graskop (40 km), river-rafting, zip-lining, kloofing to geckoing. A local company offers trips to the Kruger National Park and Panorama Trail.After a short drive to Sudwala Caves, you can explore the insides of the mountain and afterwards go back in time at the Dinosaur Park. Kaapsehoop is known for its wild horses and has the reputation of snow in winter. Cottage is set next to an organic apricot orchard above the farm dam. The reason we do not allow pets is that we have so many bird species, lizards, geckos and small buck on the farm and they must be protected. Also, we have mountain leopards who might snack on your pet. This is an extremely safe, quiet and crime-free area. Two months rental deposit and two months notice to vacate required. Best to email.
