For these reasons the use of a lens support bracket in these casesis an absolute must- The unit: camerailensssupport bracket can be screwed onto the centreof the tripod close to the optical centre of the lens. thereby allowing for good optical man-euverebility.At present two different lens support brackets are available. *Collection in Claremont or R60 for Pudo sent at the buyers cost/risk* Proskar Ishico Anamorphic Adapter Lens 2x Squeeze, the focus moves freely, it has a fair amount of cleaning marks but the optics are clean and the lens is sharp - see the pic. The marks on the front element are not scratches in the glass, they are only in the lens coating and hence do not affect sharpness. These lenses are typically used on mirrorless cameras to get anamorphic footage, it's an approximately 2x squeeze. They are popular lenses for anamorphic on a budget and they make great anamorphic flares. You will need a taking lens to use it with, normally a manual focus prime lens between 50-80mm and a method of mounting it to the taking lens.
