Invest in an Adventure screen for your bike - the same screen that is fitted on the GSA.
This screen is made specifically for the R1200GS and Adventure, transparent so you can see through. Size is 51,5 x 56,5 cm (H x W). The Adventure screen is 14,5 cm higher than the original, but stays adjustable like the original screen.

This Adventure screen needs to be combined with the specific D330KITK fitting kit - R302.

For absolute wind protection nirvana, fit the Kappa Airstream Screen specifically built for the R1200 range.
This two-piece Airstream sliding windscreen is transparent.
