Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining the store's appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product information and recommendations based on customers' needs
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the store
• Stock shelves and ensure product displays are neat and attractive
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and unpacking deliveries
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals
• Stay informed about new products and promotions

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or the pet shop industry preferred
• Passion for pets and a desire to help pet owners find the best products for their needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Basic math skills for handling transactions
• Willingness to learn and adapt
