Mechanical Supervisor

Requirements:

• Must have Matric,
• Able to read and write in English and Afrikaans,
• Computer literacy, Excel, Word and Outlook, MS Projects
• Driver’s licence
• At least 3 years’ experience as supervisor
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to manage people
• Mechanical minded and have experience to manage a team of welders and boilermakers, especially in fabrication of pipe work for the Petrochem Industry
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Quality control of carbon steel pipe work during fabrication for fuel lines
• Project cost control
• Manage a project plan against strict time lines

Description:

• Successful candidate must be able to do proper planning of projects and control the project with day to day planning
• Be able to have people skills and manage people and clients
• Be able to complete safety files
• Complete and send daily reports
• Be able to think out of the box
• Be able to have crises management
• Be able to manage the workforce
• Be able to manage the vehicles
• Be able to have stock control and cost control/savings without compromising the quality of work

Salary market related, depending on experience etc.
