Technology Development Chemist - Polymer Science

Chemical Manufacturing company based in New Germany is looking for a Chemist with a BSC in Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry. Minimum 2 years related experience in a Polymer Science laboratory - specifically Solvent and water-based polymers and dispersions. Chemical Manufacturing experience essential. Responsibility:
• Implements projects relating to coatings and structural polymers/product development of new and existing products. • Development of alternate polymer technologies in order to maintain a competitive advantage. • Ability to conduct research on subjects relating to projects, including raw materials. • Formulate and synthesise products at laboratory and pilot plant scale. • Generate and maintain formulation packages and technical literature on sage x3.
